Biography
ROSS WOODROW born 1949, Mackay Queensland, Australia, first exhibited 1969 etching, woodcuts, linoprints. Ross Woodrow is an artist, academic, painter printmaker and curator who graduated as a secondary art teacher from Kelvin Grove Teachers College (now QUT) in Brisbane in 1969. He completed a BA at the University of Queensland, majoring in Fine Art and Classics. In 1982 and received his MPhil and PhD from the University in 1994 and 2004 respectively. He has exhibited widely in Australia since 1969. He renewed his early interest in printmaking in 2004 and his studio work has since that date been focused on various print mediums particularly etching, and relief printing. He has also curated a number of print exhibitions. [Impress Printmakers, 2019].
