Biography

Ann Latham was the daughter of natural history artist and ornithologist John Latham. As a young woman she followed her fathers profession and was responsible (among other projects) for the illustrations of birds for Phillip, Arthur, 'The voyage of Governor Phillip to Botany Bay'. London, 1789. She ceased her natural history illustrations after her marriage in 1795.
