Biography

Dr Leslie Barnet was an international photographic and print exhibitor. He also lectured in Art History and wrote about and taught Creative Photography. Leslie was awarded the Associate of the Australian Institute of Photography, Associate and then Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain, ‘Artiste de Federation Internationale de l’Art Photographique’ Switzerland and 1965 he was awarded the Australian Photography Recognition Medal.

In1983, Leslie completed an Associate Diploma of Arts majoring in Fine Arts and specialising in etching, silk-screen and relief printing and photography. He held many exhibitions of his photography, silkscreens, etchings and woodcuts.
