Abstract

The Robert Jacks Drawing Prize is an biennial competition highlighting contemporary drawing practice in Australia. Renowned artist Robert Jacks initiated the competition and the prize attracts entries from leading and emerging artists across Australia.

2006 marks the fifth year of the Robert Jacks Drawing Prize. To celebrate this occasion, Justice Paul Guest has offered an additional $5,000 to the prize as an acquisitive award. All entrants selected for the exhibition will be eligible for both the non-acquisitive and acquisitive prizes.
