Abstract

The 2023 APW James Northfield Lithography Scholarship provided August Carpenter with the opportunity to expand her print practice in the lithographic medium. Working in collaboration with APW Printers, August was supported to produce new work using plate lithography. Immersion in APW's Summer School lithography program, along with access to the APW print studio and lithography facilities enabled August to further her lithographic skills to produce a suite of new works.

The 2023 APW Collie Print Trust Emerging Victorian Printmakers Scholarship was awarded to Michael Lye, a graduate of the highly regarded RMIT Print Studio department. Using the APW print studio over an extended period, Michael was able to develop an expansive suite of new works incorporating intaglio and monoprinting techniques.

The 2023 APW Print Studio Access Program Fee Assistance Scholarship supported Artists to participate in the APW Print Studio Access Program. Brendan Cooper, Jarmila Hava and Margaret Parker used their scholarships to create new works in the intaglio, lithographic and relief mediums.
