Abstract

Alcaston Gallery is delighted to present Significant Print Portfolios: an exclusive online presentation of rare and important prints in individual archival hard cover portfolios.

Printed by master printers, the artist-focused portfolios include a large single etching by Kathleen Petyarre (c. 1940-2018) in collaboration with master printer Basil Hall, and four portfolios commissioned by Leo Christie OAM and titled Republic Unlimited collection. Established in 2002, the Republic Unlimited print portfolio series was highly selective in its inclusions with two prints presented in a custom embossed, archival portfolio, pairing leading Australian artists with master printmakers.

Significant Print Portfolios will be presented online from 25 June – 19 July 2025 and available for viewing at the Alcaston Gallery Head Office - Level 3, 50 Market Street Melbourne.
