"set up independently from his father Antonio (q.v.) as a printer in the 1870s. For a time he was in partnership with Oliver Levey, a subsequent owner of the Herald. Then became Azzopardi, Hildreth & Co (q.v.) (c. 1873), then Eureka Electrotype and Stereotype Foundry (q.v.). Exhibited steam machinery from the Foundry at the 1880 Melbourne International Exhibition" Antonio Azzopardi purchased R.M. Abbott
