Edition information
Published by J.R. Clarke in his series 'Scenery of Port Jackson', (number 1), lithographed by Edmund Thomas and printed by Allan & Wigley.
Sydney publishers J.R. Clark and Charles Goddard both published a view near the Flag Staff, South Head and a view of the Gap, South Head in 1857. The advertisements link the publication of the views with the recent sinking of the ‘Dunbar’. The Clark views, which appear first, are credited to Edmund Thomas. It would seem that Goddard has copied these works, and selling them at a cheaper price.
